I Judge My Books by Their Covers

So I’m sure we’ve all heard the phrase “Don’t judge a book by its cover,” right? The thing is, I do. If you’re a book lover, then I’m pretty sure you do too.

I’m not saying that the cover makes the book, but it does grab my attention when I’m strolling down the aisles of a bookstore. Different things make book covers stand out, such as the title, text, artwork, and colors. I love strong, bold colors. An intriguing title will get me every time as well. Or maybe that’s an excuse I’m using to justify abandoning my budget to buy more books (shrugs).

Below, I’ve put together a list of five books that screamed BUY ME during my weekly visits to the bookstore.

Did I mention that all of these are great reads? Have you read any of the five? What books would you add to the list? Let me know what you think.
